How Our Upcoming Litter Waitlist Works

Planning ahead is a wonderful way to welcome a Dobermann puppy when the timing is ideal for your household. Families who join our upcoming litter waitlist enjoy priority selection once puppies are born and evaluated for temperament. Because every family has unique preferences regarding sex, coat shade, and energy level, we take notes on your household routine during your initial consultation and keep you informed at every milestone.

During gestation, our dams receive specialized prenatal veterinary care, gentle daily walks, and nutrient rich meals in a calm home setting. Once the litter arrives in our heated indoor whelping suite, we monitor weight gain daily and keep waitlist families updated with photos and videos. Around six to eight weeks of age, when individual personalities shine clearly, we guide each waitlist family through selecting the puppy that best matches their home.

If you are ready to bring home a puppy immediately rather than waiting for a future litter, we invite you to browse our currently available ten week and twelve week old puppies ready for placement right now.

Early Developmental Milestones From Birth to Placement

Understanding what happens during the first ten to twelve weeks of your puppy life highlights the care invested in every Nine Tails Dobermann litter. During weeks one and two, puppies remain snuggled in our heated whelping suite with their mother, nursing frequently and receiving brief daily tactile exercises that support healthy neurological development. Around week three, their eyes and ears open, and they take their first steady steps across soft fleece bedding while beginning to recognize our voices.

Between weeks four and six, we introduce warm puppy porridge alongside mother milk and set up separate sleeping, eating, and potty areas that encourage natural cleanliness. By weeks seven and eight, puppies enjoy supervised play sessions in our family living room and fenced yard, exploring gentle obstacle tunnels, balance surfaces, and household sounds. During weeks nine through twelve, each puppy practices individual crate rest, gentle collar and lead familiarity, and full veterinary examinations so they arrive in your home calm, healthy, and ready to bond.
